Extended Family
Saturday we had the opportunity (with permission from mission president) to go to Atlanta, Georgia (since it is out of our mission) to visit with family. We visited with my cousin Bill Kennedy & wife Regina, my sister and her husband, Patti & Dan Crunk, Elder Berry's two sisters and spouses, Mary & Joel Schoggen, and Ann & Conrad Murphy. We had a joyous day but there just weren't enough hours to visit and share all our memories

WE ARE THANKFUL TO BE A "SENIOR" MISSIONARY COUPLE

Elder & Sister Berry with President Holm
"Some may boast and some may brag but only a few wear the black name tag" quote from our son when he was serving his mission which was written on many of his letters.

We are thankful to serve with such wonderful missionaries. Elder Cahoon (left) will make his last transfer Friday. The transfer will be a few days early due to Thanksgiving. I'm sure his parents will be thankful to have him home. Elder Phillips served in Augusta a few transfers back and is now serving in Aiken, South Carolina. Truly great and dedicated missionaries. We love all the missionaries and the opportunity to serve with them.

This year is fast drawing to a close and the Holidays are upon us. Since November is Thanksgiving and the time to count blessings we are sharing a few of the things we are thankful for. We are very thankful for each of you, family and friends, and for your faith and prayers. Joseph Smith is the prophet of the restoration and the true church of Jesus Christ is now on the earth with a living prophet, President Thomas S Monson. Now families can be together forever. Through missionary service we "invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement, repentance, baptism , receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end." (missionary purpose) We are thankful for this year of missionary service that we have experienced..

"......and that ye may live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you." (Alma 34:38)

Love Elder and Sister Berry
